FAQ

Questions and Answers:

Q: When is the next election?

A:  The 2022 General Primary Election Runoff will be held on June 21, 2022.

Q:  When can I request an absentee ballot for the June 2022 General Primary Election Runoff?

A:  NOW!.  The last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the June 21, 2022 General Primary Runoff Election is June 10, 2022.

Q: What kind of ballot can I choose for the Runoff?

A:  If you voted in the May 24 General Primary, you must choose the same party ballot style in the runoff as you did in the May 24 General Primary.  If you voted Nonpartisan or did not vote at all, you can choose either party ballot style.

Q:  Will I get an absentee ballot automatically?

A:  The only way you will receive a ballot without applying for it is if, when applying for the May 24 General Primary absentee ballot, you marked that you were opting in to receive ballots for the rest of the election cycle for one of the following reasons: Elderly, Disabled, or UOCAVA.  If you did not mark that section on the absentee ballot application, you must submit a new application for the June 21 Runoff.

Q:  Where do I vote?

A:  If you early vote (June 13-17, 2022, 8am - 5pm), you will vote at our office at 237 North 2nd Street, Madison GA.  If you vote on election day, you must vote at your polling place.  Please note:  our office is NOT an election day polling place.
