Madison

The Steffen Thomas Museum & Archives

Located on 4200 Bethany Road in Buckhead, GA, the Steffen Thomas Museum offers art education programs and projects for children and families in rural Northeast and Middle Georgia communities. Morgan County African-American Museum

Morgan County African-American Museum is instrumental in preserving African-American heritage and promoting awareness of the contributions the African-American has made to the culture of the South. Located at 156 Academy Street in Madison, it occupies a historic house--Moore House--that dates from 1890. Many artifacts and furniture representative of the rich African-American heritage of the region are constantly on display, in addition to itinerant exhibits. Big Sandy Creek Dairy Farm

Jack Creek's Tree Farm

Located at 2291 Price Mill Road in Bostwick, GA, this tree farm produces award-winning Christmas trees that are made available during the Christmas season using the "choose and cut" method to families wishing to enhance their holiday experience by procuring a tree the old fashioned way. Hard Labor Creek State Park
