The Assistant District Attorney is responsible for the prosecution of all felonies and misdemeanors for the County. Currently, the office is held by Ms. Alison Burleson. A career prosecutor, Ms. Burleson previously served as the Chief Assistant Solicitor-General of the DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office, as well as an Assistant District Attorney in the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Burleson received her B.A. in History from Agnes Scott College in 1995 and her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2000.
